It's the 4th today and it was a 4th sans fireworks, bbq's, and all things american. It is very strange to be abroad on such an American holiday because no one around even realizes what day it is... because why would they care. Well I care and so I wore my colors proudly if not subtly and also whistled a little star spangled banner while running up and down the stairs. Below you can see my outfit for the day.
I look forward to my next 4th in the states but until then I'll take my solitary celebration to bed where I shall enjoy a viewing of Jaws, for in my opinion no 4th is ever complete without it.
